THREADING

Eyebrow threading is a process of removing hair from its’ roots (depilation) which originated in India. The hair removal technique is not just for the eyebrows but threading can be used to remove other facial and body hair as well.

Eyebrow threading involves twisting a piece of thread, usually cotton, into a double strand. This double stranded thread is used to pick up a line of hair and then remove it, creating a very clean, precise hairline.

Eyebrow threading can be used to eliminate a joined brow, raise the arch of the eyebrow, or add shape and definition to the brow. Because it removes hair by the follicle, it is a reasonably long lasting hair removal technique. Repeat visits after three to four weeks will help to maintain preferred shape. WAXING

Waxing is a popular and quite common method to eliminate unwanted body hair. Waxing is believed to be one of the best methods to eliminate body hair due to it’s long lasting effects. Through waxing, body hair will be removed from the root and therefore it can remain hair-free for up to about 4 weeks.

After waxing, hair will most likely start to grow back at a period of about one month. However, it is good to know that hair can grow also as quick as one week after waxing, or after about eight weeks after the usage of this hair removal method.

Any part of the body except the head can be waxed. Most commonly preferred waxing are legs, arms and bikini. Now Brazilian waxing is very popular among the ladies. At Beauty Mantra, we offer all waxing services (excluding Brazilian). We use the roll on wax applicator, which is mess free, and makes the whole process a more pleasant one. The honey wax leaves you’re your skin soft and moistened.

BLEACHING

Bleaching refers to the an attempt to lighten skin tone by lightening body hair such as facial hair. At Beauty Mantra, we use Jolen Crème bleach to achieve best results and great satisfaction for our customers.

HOT OIL HAIR MASSAGE/TREATMENT

A hot oil treatment is a type of hair massage therapy for relaxation and healing purposes. This treatment is designed to penetrate much deeper into the hair shaft in order to nourish the hair, replace lost moisture, and to attempt to repair any damage to the hair. Oil is heated up to a comfortable warm temperature. Then it ill be applied on the scalp using a brush or cotton. Following that a 15 minutes massage is done on the head, forehead and neck. This helps to relief stress, tension, headaches and muscle aches. It helps hair to restore it’s shine and healthy look. It gets rids of dull, dry, frizzy, damaged and lifeless looking hair. At Beauty Mantra, we  ensure our customers a relaxing massage that will soothe and calm their senses. At the end of the massage hair will be wrapped and left to set for about 10-15 min before being washed and shampooed.  

For the body, the hot oil is used to loosen and release the internal impurities, which are then flushed out and eliminated through the urinary and digestive tract. For this reason it is important to drink plenty of water after a treatment.

HENNA HAIR COLOUR / TREATMENT

Henna treatment is a deep conditioning treatment for the hair using just pure natural ingredients. It can also be used as a substitute for protein treatment as well. Henna treatment is very popular in India and now its popularity has brought it to many countries.

Henna strengthens hair and adds shine while making it soft and manageable. Using henna can loosen curls slightly and may even help to battle frizz. Henna also works as an anti-fungal treatment, and this can be especially helpful if you suffer from things such as dandruff or other scalp-related issues. It also prevents hair loss and promotes hair growth. Henna is also known for leaving a natural-looking red color behind. Some use this for it’s coloring agent to cover grey hair or have a natural looking red tint on their hair. At Beauty Mantra, We provide both Henna coloring and treatment for hair depending on our customers' needs.

HENNA ARTWORK
 

Henna comes from Lawsonia inermis, also called henna tree. The leaves of this tree is blended and made into powder form. Which is then later mixed with water, some other herbs, ingredients or chemicals for various uses.
 Henna artwork is very popular and originated from India. It is mainly used for coloring of hair, skin or even cotton in some countries like Morocco.
 Henna is most commonly used by brides but these days the art is very popular among women of all ages. Henna artwork is done for most happy occasions such Deepavali, Hari Raya and other festivals as well.
